Privacy Policy

PubliScope is a live-broadcast tool. It lets an organisation stream one live video simultaneously to several Facebook Pages that the organisation and its members administer.

This policy explains exactly what data we collect, why, and how you can remove it. If anything here is unclear, email salman@publiscope.io.

1. Who we are

PubliScope is operated by Grok Media Private Limited, a company registered in India (CIN U73100MH2026PTC467389), whose registered office is at Flat No A1 104, Green Space Residency, Aurangabad, Maharashtra 431001, India. The service is accessible at https://publiscope.io.

Grok Media Private Limited is the data controller for the information described in this policy — we determine why and how it is processed. For any privacy question or request, contact salman@publiscope.io.

2. What we collect

Account information

Email address	To sign you in and contact you if a Page connection breaks
Mobile number	To reach you quickly if your Page fails during a live broadcast, when email is too slow. We do not use it for marketing and do not share it.
Password	Stored only as a salted scrypt hash. We never store or see your actual password.

Facebook information

When you choose "Connect Facebook Page", we ask Facebook for:

Permission	What we do with it
pages_show_list	Show you the list of Pages you administer, so you can pick which to connect
pages_read_engagement	Read the Page name, category and follower count — the follower count is needed because Facebook does not allow live video on Pages with fewer than 100 followers
publish_video	Create and end live videos on the Pages you connected. This is the core function of the service.
pages_manage_posts	Required by Facebook for the same call — creating a live video on a Page fails without it. Used only to start and end a broadcast. We never create, read, edit or delete any other kind of post.

From this we store:

• Your Facebook user ID and name
• An access token for each Page you connected
• Page ID, Page name, category and follower count
• A record of the live videos we created for you (IDs, timestamps, success or failure)

3. How we use it

We use the data above for exactly three things:

• To start and stop live videos on the Pages you connected, when your organisation broadcasts
• To show status in the dashboard — which Pages went live, which failed and why
• To warn you when a Page's connection stops working and needs to be reconnected

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to build profiles or for any advertising purpose.

4. Who can see your data

Your account belongs to one organisation. Administrators of that organisation only can see which Pages you connected and their broadcast status. Other organisations using PubliScope cannot see your data.

We share data with third parties only in these cases:

• Meta (Facebook) — we call the Facebook Graph API to create live videos on your Pages. This is the purpose of the service.
• Contabo GmbH — our hosting provider. Our servers are located in their Mumbai, India data centre, and their technical staff can access that infrastructure remotely from Germany. They store the data on our behalf and act only on our instructions; they do not use it for any purpose of their own.
• Public authorities — only where we are legally required to. We review every such request for legal validity before responding, challenge requests we believe are unlawful or overly broad, disclose only the minimum data the request actually compels, and keep a written record of each request and our response. We never disclose Facebook Page access tokens. Where we are permitted to tell you, we will.

5. How long we keep it

6. How to delete your data

You can remove your data at any time. Any of these works:

• Disconnect a single Page — sign in at publiscope.io/portal and press "Remove" next to that Page. Its access token is deleted immediately.
• Delete everything — see our data deletion instructions.
• From Facebook — go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites, and remove PubliScope. Facebook notifies us and we delete the associated tokens.

7. Security

• All traffic uses HTTPS
• Passwords are stored as salted scrypt hashes, never in readable form
• Access tokens are stored on servers that are not publicly reachable
• Every Facebook API call is signed with appsecret_proof
• Access to production systems is restricted to named administrators

No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, email us immediately at salman@publiscope.io.

8. Your rights

You may ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email salman@publiscope.io and we will respond within 30 days.

9. Children

PubliScope is a tool for organisations and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes affecting how we use your data, we will email account holders.
